VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to the batman-adv component in the Linux kernel, where the soft/batadv interface for a queued OGM can be changed during the time the OGM was queued for transmission and when the OGM is actually transmitted by the worker. This can lead to incorrect warnings being printed using WARN ON, which should be used to denote kernel bugs, not simple warnings. A warning can simply be printed using pr warn.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
