VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A use-after-free issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel, specifically in the gfs2 module. The issue arises from the handling of the GLF LRU flag under lru lock in gfs2 glock remove from lru() and gfs2 dispose glock lru(). To ensure correct behavior, the GLF LRU flag is kept across the race window opened by cond resched lock(&lru lock) and is cleared after list del under lru lock.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
