Description
The issue is a Sensitive Data Exposure vulnerability that can be exploited via a GET request to "/user/getUserList". Authentication is required to exploit this issue. The disclosed information includes user ID, status, email address, role(s), user type, license type, and personal details such as first name, last name, gender, and user preferences, associated with all registered users.
Recommendations
For OvalEdge versions 5.2.8.0 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "/user/getUserList" endpoint until a patch is available. Additionally, limiting the use of sensitive user data can help minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
