setWanCfg of the file /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi. The manipulation of the argument hostName leads to os command injection. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.Recommendations
For Totolink LR1200GB version 9.1.0u.6619 B20230130, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
setWanCfg function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the argument hostName in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
