CVE-2022-48706

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to a memory leak in the Linux kernel. Specifically, the ifcvf mgmt dev leaks memory if it is not freed before returning. A call is made to the correct return statement to prevent memory leakage. The ifcvf init hw function does not handle this, so it is necessary to perform the cleanup.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
