Description
The issue is related to a potential NULL dereference in the Linux kernel's pinctrl module. The problem arises because the
pinmux generic get function() can return NULL, and the function pointer is dereferenced without checking against NULL. This has been fixed by adding a check for the function pointer in pcs set mux(). The vulnerability was found by the Linux Verification Center with SVACE.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
