CVE-2022-49028

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A resource leak issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. The ixgbevf init module() function did not destroy the workqueue created by create singlethread workqueue() when pci register driver() failed. To prevent the resource leak, destroy workqueue() was added in the fail path. This issue is similar to the handling of u132 hcd init in commit f276e002793c ("usb: u132-hcd: fix resource leak").
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
