Description The issue is related to the restorePermissionState function in PermissionManagerServiceImpl.java, where an app can retain permissions that should be revoked due to incorrect permission flags being cleared during an update. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with User execution privileges needed, and user interaction is not required for exploitation.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
