CVE-2023-4247

CVSS v3.1

5.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:L
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions GiveWP plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.33.3
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the give sendwp disconnect function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to deactivate the SendWP plugin via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing a specific action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.33.3, update to a version that includes the fix for the missing or incorrect nonce validation issue to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the give sendwp disconnect function to minimize the risk of exploitation.
