VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Tenda i9 version 1.0.0.9(4122)
Description A critical vulnerability has been found in the Tenda i9, affecting the formSetCfm function of the httpd component, specifically in the file /goform/setcfm. The manipulation of the funcpara1 argument leads to a stack-based buffer overflow. This issue can be exploited remotely, potentially allowing an attacker to cause a denial of service. The exploit has been publicly disclosed.
Recommendations As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the formSetCfm function of the httpd component until a patch is available. Restrict access to the /goform/setcfm endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the funcpara1 argument in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
