Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
IBM Engineering Lifecycle Optimization versions 7.0.2 through 7.0.3
Description
The issue is caused by improper validation of input by the HOST headers, leading to HTTP header injection. This could allow an attacker to conduct various attacks against the vulnerable system, including cross-site scripting, cache poisoning, or session hijacking.
Recommendations
For versions 7.0.2 and 7.0.3, consider restricting access to the HOST headers to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, avoid using the vulnerable HOST headers in the affected system until the issue is resolved.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
