Description A recovery notification bypass issue exists in the userRecoverPass.php captcha validation functionality. This allows a specially crafted HTTP request to silently create a recovery pass code for any user.

Recommendations As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the captcha validation functionality in the userRecoverPass.php file until a patch is available. Restrict access to the userRecoverPass.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the recovery pass code functionality in the affected version until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
