Description
The issue allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the Firmware Update Script at "/etc/init.d/update notifications.sh".
Recommendations
For Buffalo LS210D version 1.78-0.03, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the execution of the update notifications.sh script until a patch is available. Restrict access to the "/etc/init.d/update notifications.sh" script to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
