CVE-2023-52624

CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue occurs when DMCUB is in idle mode while attempting to interface with the hardware through the GPINT mailbox, resulting in a system hang. To resolve this, a function dc wake and execute gpint() was added to wrap the wake, execute, sleep sequence. If the GPINT command executes successfully, DMCUB will be put back into sleep after the optional response is returned. This functions similarly to the inbox command interface.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
