CVE-2023-52625

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue occurs when trying to send commands to the DMCUB when it is not powered on, causing the system to hang. To fix this, a software state is used to track whether the process to exit idle or notify idle should be started. Any instances of exit/notify idle are refactored to use a single wrapper that maintains this software state. The system must exit the idle state before sending any commands or waiting for DMCUB idle.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
