None

No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A potential circular locking issue was identified in the smb2 set ea() function. This issue arises because smb2 set ea() can be called within the parent inode lock range. To address this, the get write argument was added to smb2 set ea() to prevent nested calls to mnt want write().
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
