CVE-2023-52732

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue occurs when a corrupted snap trace is received, and it is not clear what happened on the MDS side. To prevent potential corruption or incorrect content access, the patch blocks further IO/MDS requests immediately and then evicts the kclient. This eviction is necessary because the MDS could revoke the caps faster.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
