CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A shift-out-of-bounds error is reported when the value of the variable sd->params.exposure.gain exceeds the number of bits in an integer. This error is triggered because the variable currentexp cannot be left-shifted by more than the number of bits in an integer. The issue is resolved by adding a conditional expression to avoid invalid range during left-shift.
