Description
The issue allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions or above to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application via the 'gview' shortcode. This can be used to query and modify information from internal services.
Recommendations
For Google Doc Embedder plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.6.4, consider disabling the 'gview' shortcode until a patch is available to prevent Server Side Request Forgery attacks.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
