CVE-2024-0433

CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Gestpay for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 20221130
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the ajax unset default card function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to remove the default status of a card token for a user via a forged request, provided they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 20221130, consider disabling the ajax unset default card function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to this function to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using this function in the affected plugin until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
