Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The Happy Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.10.1
Description
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the
wrapper link parameter in the Age Gate due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 3.10.1, update to a version higher than 3.10.1 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Age Gate feature to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Avoid using the
wrapper link parameter in the Age Gate until the issue is resolved.Fix
