Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The WP ERP | Complete HR solution with recruitment & job listings | WooCommerce CRM & Accounting plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.12.9
Description
The issue is related to union-based SQL Injection via the
email parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This allows authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 1.12.9, consider disabling the
email parameter until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to sensitive database information to minimize the risk of data extraction. Update to a version that includes a fix for this issue when available.Fix
