CVE-2024-0957

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes and Shipping Labels plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 4.4.1
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Customer Notes field due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected invoice for printing.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 4.4.1, update to a version later than 4.4.1 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Customer Notes field until a patch is available.
