CVE-2024-10010

CVSS v3.1

4.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions LearnPress WordPress plugin versions prior to 4.2.7.2
Description The issue allows high privilege users, such as administrators, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This is possible because the plugin does not properly sanitize and escape some of its settings. The vulnerability can be exploited even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, such as in a multisite setup.
Recommendations For versions prior to 4.2.7.2, update to version 4.2.7.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the vulnerable settings until a patch is available. Additionally, restrict access to the plugin's configuration to minimize the risk of exploitation.
