6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WP-Strava plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.12.1
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via admin settings due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The issue only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered html has been disabled.
Recommendations For WP-Strava plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.12.1: Update to the latest version to mitigate risks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to admin settings to minimize the risk of exploitation. Additionally, restricting the use of unfiltered html in installations can help reduce the vulnerability's impact.
