CVSS v3.1

8.1

High

VectorAV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Loginizer Security and Loginizer plugins for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.9.2
Description The issue is due to insufficient verification on the user being returned by the social login token, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any existing user on the site, such as an administrator, if they have access to the email and the user does not have an already-existing account for the service returning the token.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.9.2, update to the latest version immediately to mitigate risks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the social login feature until a patch is available. Avoid using the social login token in the affected plugin until the issue is resolved.
