A critical issue was found in the connectLogout function of the file /com/esafenet/servlet/ajax/MultiServerAjax.java. The manipulation of the
servername argument leads to SQL injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted about this disclosure but did not respond.Recommendations
For ESAFENET CDG 5, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
connectLogout function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the /com/esafenet/servlet/ajax/MultiServerAjax.java file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the servername argument in the affected function until the issue is resolved.
