CVE-2024-10168

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Active Products Tables for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.0.6.4
Description The issue is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting flaw due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's woot button shortcode. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.0.6.4, update the plugin to the latest version to mitigate the risk of Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the woot button shortcode to minimize the risk of exploitation.
