Description The issue is due to a missing capability check in the edba admin handle function, allowing authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions and above to update plugin settings and log in as any existing user, including administrators.
Recommendations For version 0.1 and earlier, consider disabling the edba admin handle function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to plugin settings to minimize the risk of unauthorized updates. Avoid using the plugin until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
