Description The issue arises from insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries. This can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.0.1, update to a version that addresses the SQL Injection issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the shortcode feature to minimize the risk of exploitation.
