Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via shortcodes due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For Beek Widget Extention plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 0.9.5, update to a version higher than 0.9.5 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the shortcode feature to minimize the risk of exploitation.
