Description The issue is related to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the update assistant() function. This allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to update GTP assistants.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.1.7, update to a version higher than 2.1.7 to mitigate the risk of unauthorized data modification. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the update assistant() function until a patch is available.
