Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The Primary Addon for Elementor plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.6.2
Description
The issue allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to extract data from private or draft posts created with Elementor that they should not have access to. This is due to insufficient restrictions on which posts can be included via the
prim elementor template shortcode.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 1.6.2, update to a version that addresses the Information Exposure issue to prevent unauthorized access to private or draft posts. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
prim elementor template shortcode to minimize the risk of exploitation.Fix
