Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The AFI – The Easiest Integration Plugin plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.92.0
Description
The issue is related to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of
add query arg and remove query arg without proper escaping on the URL. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 1.92.0, update to a version later than 1.92.0 to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to potentially vulnerable pages until a patch is available. Avoid using links that could be used to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages.
