VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions SimpleForm – Contact form made simple plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.2.0
Description The issue is related to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of add query arg and remove query arg without proper escaping on the URL. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.2.0, update to a version higher than 2.2.0 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's functionality until a patch is available.
