Description
The issue arises from the use of
add query arg and remove query arg without proper escaping on the URL, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. This can be achieved if an attacker successfully tricks a user into performing an action, such as clicking on a link. The estimated number of potentially affected devices worldwide is not specified.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 2.1.0, update to a version higher than 2.1.0 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's functionality until a patch is available.
