CVE-2024-10913

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Clone plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.4.6
Description The issue allows unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object via deserialization of untrusted input in the recursive unserialized replace function. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.4.6, consider disabling the recursive unserialized replace function until a patch is available to prevent the deserialization of untrusted input. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
