CVE-2024-11223

CVSS v3.1

4.7

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WPForms WordPress plugin versions prior to 1.9.2.3
Description The issue allows high privilege users, such as admin, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example in multisite setup. This is due to the plugin not sanitising and escaping some of its settings.
Recommendations For WPForms WordPress plugin versions prior to 1.9.2.3, update to version 1.9.2.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the plugin's settings to minimize the risk of exploitation.
