CVE-2024-11360

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Page Parts plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.4.3
Description The issue is related to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of remove query arg without appropriate escaping on the URL. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.4.3, update to a version higher than 1.4.3 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to potentially vulnerable pages until a patch is available. Avoid using links that could potentially exploit the remove query arg function without proper escaping until the issue is resolved.
