Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the wporphanageex menu settings() function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to escalate the privileges of all orphan accounts via a forged request, provided they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

Recommendations For WP-Orphanage Extended plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.2, consider disabling the wporphanageex menu settings() function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation.
