Description
The issue allows authenticated attackers with subscriber access or higher to create pages with arbitrary titles, which are then published, due to a missing capability check on the
buddyforms new page function.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 2.8.7, update to a version higher than 2.8.7 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
buddyforms new page function to prevent unauthorized page creation.Fix
