| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Taeggie Feed plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 0.1.9
Description
The issue is related to stored cross-site scripting via the plugin's 'taeggie-feed' shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 0.1.9, update to the latest version available to secure the site and mitigate potential threats. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the 'taeggie-feed' shortcode to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Fix
