CVE-2024-11759

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Bukza plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.0.0
Description The Bukza plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'bukza' shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.0.0, update to the latest version to mitigate risks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the 'bukza' shortcode until a patch is available. Avoid using the vulnerable shortcode in pages until the issue is resolved.
