Description The glomex oEmbed plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's glomex integration shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions prior to 0.9.1, update to the latest version to secure your site. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the glomex integration shortcode until a patch is available.
