CVE-2024-11885

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions NinjaTeam Chat for Telegram plugin for WordPress version 1.0 and earlier
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'njtele button' shortcode in the NinjaTeam Chat for Telegram plugin for WordPress. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above can inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For version 1.0 and earlier, consider disabling the njtele button shortcode until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the plugin's functionality to minimize the risk of arbitrary web script injection. Avoid using the njtele button shortcode in pages until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
