Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
IDer Login for WordPress plugin versions up to, and including, 2.1
Description
The IDer Login for WordPress plugin is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'ider login button' shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 2.1, update to the latest version immediately to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the 'ider login button' shortcode until a patch is available.
Restrict access to pages that use the 'ider login button' shortcode to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Fix
XSS
