Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
WP Service Payment Form With Authorize.net plugin for WordPress versions prior to 2.6.3
Description
The issue is related to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages through the
page parameter. This enables attackers to execute scripts if they can trick a user into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.Recommendations
For versions prior to 2.6.3, update to a version newer than 2.6.3 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
page parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the page parameter in affected pages until the issue is resolved.Fix
