5.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Last Viewed Posts by WPBeginner plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.0.1
Description The issue allows unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data, including titles and permalinks of private, password-protected, pending, and draft posts, via the get legacy cookies function. This makes it possible for attackers to access confidential information without proper authentication.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.0.1, consider disabling the get legacy cookies function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to sensitive post data to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using legacy cookies in the affected plugin until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
