Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Premium Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 4.10.18
Description
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the button
onclick attribute due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 4.10.18, update to a version higher than 4.10.18 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting contributor access and above to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the
onclick attribute in buttons until the issue is resolved.Fix
