Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in the plugin's videowhisper player html shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2.6.31, update to version 2.6.31 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the videowhisper player html shortcode until a patch is available. Restrict access to the plugin's settings to minimize the risk of exploitation.
